Safe Food Handling Course
The Safe Food Handling Course is an effective food handler certification course provided by SafeCheck Workplace Safety Training. The program allows learners to gain quality knowledge about food safety and prepares them for the food handler's certification exam.
This course is equivalent to FoodSafe 1, ServSafe, TrainCan Advance.fst, and all Provincial Food Handlers Certification courses.
Approximately 6 hours in length, this course includes COVID -19 Awareness, 10 lessons, a practice quiz and exam. It is delivered with a fully narrated interactive presentation, with audio, video, photos, games and end of module quizzing.
Valid in all Canadian Provinces & Territories for 5 Years from Date of Issue.
Basic computer skills, a device with a front facing camera, webcam and reliable internet connection are required for training.
The course is FREE to those who meet eligibility requirements and register with the PREP Employment Readiness Program.
Acceptance into the program is subject to approval.

Upon successful completion of the exam, participants will receive a printable digital SafeCheck® Advanced Canadian Food Safety Certificate and wallet card via email.
