Emergency First Aid & CPR Training (Level C)

Emergency First Aid & CPR Training is offered in partnership with the Emergency First Aid Training Centre. Training is delivered through a blended program consisting of an online pre-study component which can be done at the convenience of your home. Once the online portion has been completed, participants attend an in-person practical skills training and demonstrations at the First Aid Training Centre. 

Participants must successfully complete both components of the program to receive their certificate from the Canadian Red Cross. 

Training is FREE to those who meet eligibility requirements and register with the PREP Employment Readiness Program. 

Basic computer skills, a computer, webcam and reliable internet connection are required to complete the online component of the program. 

Eligibility

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older

  • A resident of Winnipeg, MB

  • Eligible to work in Canada

  • Unemployed, underemployed or low-income

  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number

  • Register with the PREP Employment Readiness Program

  • Complete an Employment Assessment

  • Attend an online Employment Workshop
