Energy Efficiency Programs

DMSMCA does not administer any housing energy efficiency programs however applications for Manitoba’s Lower Income Energy Efficiency program (LIEEP) can be obtained at our office. Qualifying homeowners can receive FREE insulation upgrades a FREE in-home energy efficiency review or a new high-efficiency natural gas furnace for a fraction of the cost.

The Federal ecoENERGY Retrofit – Homes program provides grants up to $5,000 to help homeowners make their homes more energy-efficient and reduce the burden of high energy costs. The Government of Canada has renewed the program from June 6, 2011, until March 31, 2012.
